A group of Christians in Uganda learned about what had happened in Tanzania, and how Village Schools had spread to Malawi and Zambia, and were inspired to begin building schools in their country. Their first school opened in 2022 and work has begun on their second school. They have ambitious plans to build schools across Uganda this decade. Two graduates from Tanzania have made trips to Uganda to help the team as they get the work off the ground.
