Davies is a pastor who simply wanted to help kids in villages get the chance to go to school. He was introduced to Village Schools when Godfrey, Emmanueli and Steve were invited to come from Tanzania to speak at African Bible College in Lilongwe.

After starting the ministry of Village Schools in Malawi and getting its first school built and opened, Davies suffered a serious stroke. Although he is now limited in his ability to travel, Davies remains committed to the ministry of Village Schools in Malawi, works closely with Alfred and the other leaders in Malawi, and the casting of its vision for the future.
