Kazovu Secondary School is located in a small fishing village right on the beach in a beautiful cove. Kazovu is the home village of one of our former students and is on the coast of Lake Tanganyika.
This makes it an incredibly beautiful place for a school, but also very difficult to build in because after supplies are hauled to the lake, they must be carried across it by boat. People from Kazovu and three of its neighboring villages have worked hard to make bricks and haul them to the building site by boat because there is no road to the school.
Kazovu now has more than 100 students. It is located in the village of Kazovu, in the Rukwa region of Tanzania.
