Our Mission Statement:

We send missionary teachers to small villages in Africa to get so involved in the lives of their students that sharing the Gospel is the natural result of loving them.

Our Progress:

In 2005 we opened our first 3 schools, built 22 classrooms, received 13 missionary teachers from America, and enrolled 832 students.

Today, we have twenty-six schools in villages in Tanzania which are providing an education to over 8400 students, and we are currently partnering with people in 188 villages, working together to try to build an additional 72 classrooms this year and to open at least two more of the six new schools under construction. Since that first year, an additional 118 people have come from North America, Europe and other countries in Africa to serve as missionary teachers and we are working towards the goal of receiving 36 more over the next two years.

What do we do?

We partner with people in villages to help them build their own schools for their children.

We send short-term missionaries and train them to teach in villages in Africa.

We raise funds for scholarships so that even the child from the poorest family has a chance to go to school.

We share our faith in Christ with our students and by becoming accepted members of the community we are able to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it.

We love people and therefore we bring the Gospel, medical care, community development and education to villages in Africa.

Why do we do it?

We believe God wants His church to help Africa by meeting people's greatest felt need: education for their children. Our aim is to change life for those who live in villages across the continent, often with no schools, no clinics, and no hope of escaping from poverty. As Christians we feel compelled to care, and to care enough to actually do something.

We believe that schools open closed doors to transforming a community. Schools enable missionaries to go to villages where they have never gone before, to share the Gospel, to involve their students in community health programs, and to help people get out of poverty.

We believe there are many Christians who would be willing to serve in Africa for several months or a couple of years. We provide training for teams of missionaries so they can serve effectively. Living and teaching in a small village in Africa is a tough job – but we believe it’s the toughest job anyone will ever love.
